Commissions are open!
If you’re looking to get your ideas illustrated, this is the place to start. Below you will find some example pieces. If you already have an idea of what you would like head to the contact page.
Guidelines:
Cost
Each segment and its pricing is structured to reflect the time and complexity required for completion. It is an additive process. Adding a subject to the same scene costs the same as making a different picture, since it would take the same amount of time. This process scales up to book illustration as well. Prices may change over time, but agreed-upon prices won’t change mid-project unless the project changes to encompass new subjects.
Revisions
I’m open to revisions and redesigns during the process especially within the sketching phase since I consult with the client regularly to make sure it is in line with their vision. During the final steps of the completion and rendering process revisions that require a significant reworking of already completed material are limited to about 2 or 3 times before I start charging for the extra labour.
Time
Turnover time for a finished product could take several weeks or months depending on the level of detail required. Keep that in mind if it is a big project with a tight deadline.
Royalties and Licensing
This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. I generally charge a flat rate unless the project involves large-scale printing or branding aspect. Completed pieces are sold as-is, with no refunds on finalized work. I can do art of existing IP’s but not for the purpose of resale. And lastly paying for my services does not give you the right to pass my work off as your own.
